Kiwanis Emergency Food Relief

At Kiwanis Barossa our dedicated team is busy preparing and freezing nutritious meals each week for distribution to Lutheran Care, local charities, and schools throughout the surrounding districts. Since January 2026, we have already prepared and donated more than 1,000 free meals — and the need continues to grow.

This is where you can help. With the welcome rain and planting season underway, please consider growing a few extra vegetables to donate.

We are also in urgent need of fresh vegetables, meat, pasta, rice, tinned soups, and other ingredients to help us create wholesome meals for those doing it tough.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed through recent Harvest Thanksgiving Services — your generosity is truly appreciated.

YOUNG LIFE

*Young Life welcomed a new Area Director during February, Jody Chambers! She comes with a great resume and a passion for youth.

Please feel free to say hello and welcome her to the Barossa Churches community.

*Can and Bottle Run is happening on Friday the 13th of March. Bookings essential with Tiffany 0466039463 or tiffanyvoigt@younglife.org.au. We aim to have these four times a year so next one will probably be in June.

*Club and Wyldlife have had a great start to the year. The new day and time will take some time to get used to but we’re looking forward to the rest of the term and year.
