Blueprint Ministries is the Department for Children & Families, Youth & Young Adults for the SA–NT District.
Taking our name from a passage in Paul’s letter to the Ephesians, Blueprint Ministries exists to provide opportunities for children, families, youth and young adults to be supported in their communities, so they grow in and live their faith.
Through our mission and ministry programs, our aim is to:
- inspire innovative intergenerational church culture
- cultivate and encourage faith in young adults
- empower and equip leaders, parents and congregations
- be more effective in our ministry by partnering with the wider church
- provide pastoral care to all paid and volunteer staff.
As a department, we operate from the LCA SA–NT District Office alongside other departments (mission, chaplaincy and administration) to provide ministry programs in accordance with the LCA's vision.
As a team, we champion inter-generational ministry in our communities and ensure that the needs and interests of children, families, youth and young adults are taken into consideration.
Over the course of the year, our paid and volunteer staff run:
- eight regional camps (CLWs and JCLife)
- four district-wide camps (SPIN, RENEW, NOVO and Lutherans@Uni Camp)
- leadership and ministry conferences
- workshops and one-on-one support sessions with congregations and groups.
