Hello!
The Regional Learning Hub had a very successful first teaching series 'Set Free to Live Free.' We had a lot of great feedback about the content, our fabulous speaker Pastor Robert Voigt, and the community atmosphere.
We look forward to the coming events across the remainder of the year, but for now we focus on our next event - 'Passing on the Faith!'
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or queries.
God's Blessings,
Abby Mann
Regional Learning Hub Project Officer
See attached poster for details of the event.
SBLC SURVEY
Dear Members,
As recently advised, the Lutheran Church of Australia, SA/NT District, together with the SBLC Call Committee and the SBLC Governance Council are conducting a survey among all members and regular attenders, including children, to determine the views of as many as possible, on a number of points which will enable the Call process and the future of SBLC to be further discussed.
The questions on the survey form require a ‘tick the box’ response, you are welcome and encouraged to provide further comments. The number of survey forms you receive should be the same as the number of church attenders in your household. Additional forms, if required, will be available from your regular worship site.
Please complete one survey each and return them in the stamped return envelope provided or to Langmeil Church Office.
We ask that parents assist the younger children with completion of their form.
We ask that you please return the survey form by 25th July.
Once returned, the Lutheran Church of Australia, SA/NT District will collate the responses and provide a report which will be further discussed over the coming months at meetings to be called.
Yours in Christ
Phil Hiscock

Life on the Far Side: Adventures Undergone while Investigating a Forgotten Past
Speaker: John Strehlow
Thursday 24 July at 7.30pm, Nth Adelaide Lutheran Church,139 Archer St, North Adelaide
SA LIVESTREAM on FoLA YouTube :https://www.youtube.com/ @friendsoflutheranarchives9644/live
The meeting can be viewed at a later date as well. $5 donation, supper, all welcome.
Biographer, playwright, theatre director, and set designer, John Strehlow was born in 1946 in Adelaide, into a family closely involved with Aboriginal people for three generations. He began researching his grandparents’ two- volume biography, The Tale of Frieda Keysser, in earnest in 1994, publishing the first volume in 2011 and the second volume late in 2019. When John Strehlow embarked on a book about his family, The Tale of Frieda Keysser, he had no idea what he was letting himself in for. Investigating a Forgotten Past gives the inside story in a nuts-and-bolts outline of the 25-year project.
Copies of the eBook will be on sale on the evening, and it is hoped a Print on Demand copy may also be available.
We are looking for donations for our Breakfast clubs and Lunch club. We are looking for Gluten Free options like muffins, biscuits or Gluten Free flour for our youth that have allergies, thank you in advance.
*We would like to sincerely thank all the people that have supported our EOFY appeal. Young Life is a global organisation and our Australian Young Life team plan, support and do training together. This is our first ever National EOFY appeal and we believe it has been a success. Thank you!
* Barossa Young Life Trivia Night is being held on the 9th of August, be sure to book your tickets. We are also looking for businesses to sponsor a round of questions. So, if you have a business that is willing to donate, please contact Tiffany 0466039463 or email tiffanyvoigt@younglife.org.au.
